About the job

As a welder at Aston Harald Mechanical Workshop AB, you will work with technically challenging constructions in various materials. High quality in your work is crucial for our success in delivering to our customers. This is a job for you who knows the trade, enjoys responsibility, and wants to work in a modern workshop where people, quality, and long-term thinking are taken seriously.

You will work in a team with skilled welders where trust and collaboration are central. The work involves:

• MIG/MAG TIG welding according to drawings and specifications
• Pre-processing, cutting, rolling, joint preparation
• Post-processing, removing slag/weld spatter, grinding, deburring
• Self-inspection of completed work
• Improvement work within the area of responsibility for increased efficiency and quality

Who we believe you are

You have worked for a few years in a workshop and have:

• Relevant education in welding
• A number of years of experience working as a welder
• Experience in reading and understanding drawings and welding procedures. This is crucial for the role.
• Welding certifications according to EN ISO 9606 for structural steel and aluminum alloys
• Experience and training in visual inspection according to SS-EN 5817
• Fluency in Swedish. You need to be able to understand instructions and discuss approaches in Swedish.
• Forklift and crane licenses are advantageous
• Good collaboration skills and a positive attitude
